Single Crystal technology advances image quality with imaging up to 20MHz. Single Crystal technology is combined with the Acoustic Amplifier and Cooling Stack to improve performance and reliability. The GE Logiq E Vet is a portable, large laptop-sized system with a 15-inch HD display. It has an integrated solid-state hard drive, USB ports for easy data transfer, and an excellent rechargeable battery for easy use and transport between rooms. GE has various ultrasound probes depending on the size and type of animal being scanned. For equine, the 12L probe is excellent for limb imaging, while the 3S probe penetrates up to 30 cm, making it perfect for equine cardiology. GE recommends the 8C ultrasound probe for small animals for detailed structures, the 12L-RS and L8-18i-RS for abdominal structures, the L8-18i for ophthalmic scans, and phased array probes like the 3S-RS for cardiac scans of dogs and cats of all sizes.
